Connoisseur Plants

The Fred Heutte Center will offer a selection of "connoisseur "plants this year at the annual herb & heirloom vegetable sale. These are specially selected perennials not readily found at your local garden centers. Special thought has been given in selecting these plants. These plants are known for their unique attributes including fragrance, color, adaptation as groundcovers, tropical looks, shade-loving, and natural design. Naturally, all of these plants will grow well in our area. These plants will be available in limited quantities. Come early so you don't miss out!

Virginia Greenhouse Society

annuals, perennials, tropicals including coleus, daylilies
banana trees, coffee trees, orchids, shrubs and trees & succulents... something for everyone!

The Virginia Greenhouse Society is a group of greenhouse owners and those who wish they had a greenhouse! We grow what we love in our houses from 40 different kinds of coleus, daylilies, orchids, succulents, annual tropicals, and brugmansias, among others. Each member has a different specialty and that makes our group unique as the variety of plants compliment each other. Prices are inexpensive because they are grown for fun and joy and provide education to our members in the propagation of plants.
